Peter D. Winiarski


Pete is a change leader with a variety of line management and consulting experiences, having led performance improvement in a range of operations roles over the past 18 years with The Wiremold Company, McKinsey and Company, and Danaher – all recognized leaders in their industries.

Line Management

Pete has had a variety of roles with increasing responsibility during his career, including Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) Facilitator, Trainer, Operations Manager, Distribution Manager for multiple sites, and Vice President of Operations. As VP of Operations, Pete was responsible for manufacturing, materials, maintenance, manufacturing engineering, quality and the continuous improvement office. 

Consulting Experience

Prior to starting Win Enterprises, LLC, Pete was an Engagement Manager and Leadership team member within McKinsey and Company’s Operations Strategy and Effectiveness Practice, having solved problems and improved performance for clients in a variety of industries. He also supports The George Group in an advisor and leadership role within its Strategy to Execution Practice. Much of his client work includes assessments to diagnose opportunity and define strategy, leading "Strategic Goal Deployment™ ", and executing strategy through:

  • shop-floor improvement support (kaizen),
  • "Lean Transformation" model line and multi-plant roll out,
  • performance management, and
  • organization design.

Education

Pete has a B.S. Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, and a Masters of Business Administration.
